How to help
Well over 1,100 Democrats are registered in the Town of Douglas, and we all benefit by everyone’s participation. Although our most important goal is the election of qualified persons to town boards and committees we are also very involved in many town activities and the pursuit of the improvement of the quality of life for all Douglas residents.
Making this work requires time and money, and your help is needed. You’ll find the commitment of your time or money to be very rewarding.
The easiest way to help is by a small donation to the Committee. You can do this directly through our web site, or by mailing a check. You can also donate to or purchase items from our periodic community yard sales, typically held in the spring and fall each year. We also hold auctions of donated and purchased unique items, such as books and artwork signed by current and former national leaders. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to be informed of these special events.

With all the events we run, we’re always looking for volunteers. Please sign up for our newsletter to be informed of our events, and if you’ve got some free time please let us know. We often need help selling items for our yard sales, sitting at our Octoberfest table, and making phone calls reminding residents of important town events such as elections.
